Captain Vic has hosted thousands of visitors to Newport during his 22 years as the concierge of Newport's Bellevue House, and now as "Helper" at Anchor B&B.

His impartial advice was right, at the time this page was written ... but dates change, places get overcrowded, cooks get rushed, staff doesn't show up, funny things happen in Newport depending on the weather and events. Captain Vic guarantees nothing ... but adventure when you explore Newport.
